Europe Congress hosts Premier Event for Associations in Budapest

This March, Budapest will welcome Europe Congress’ Events Club Associations Forum, bringing together more than 100 senior event industry professionals for 2.5 days of structured B2B meetings and destination discovery, designed specifically for association and PCO event planners.

The Events Club Associations Forum is a highly curated event addressing the specific needs of planners representing international associations and professional congress organisers. Delivered in partnership with the Budapest Convention Bureau, the forum will provide direct access to destinations and venues experienced in hosting large-scale international association events, while showcasing Budapest’s diverse and competitive MICE offer.

A landmark venue in the heart of Budapest

The forum will take place at Corinthia Budapest, an iconic five-star hotel located in the city centre. Participants will experience the hotel’s renowned service standards, with access to the Royal Spa and its award-winning bars and restaurants. The historic setting offers an ideal environment for high-level networking, while serving as a base to explore Budapest as a meetings destination.

The service is designed to mirror the elegance and precision of Conrad Tokyo’s in-house service, with dedication to understanding client preferences and planning every detail, from menu selection to service protocols. In addition to F&B, options include use of tableware, cooking equipment, chefs, and staff, as well as other elements such as sound, lighting, direction, and entertainment.

The Events Club Associations Forum provides a strong opportunity to position Budapest as an inspiring and highly competitive destination for association events. Hosting the forum at Corinthia Budapest allows us to present our heritage, flexible large-scale event spaces and service excellence directly to key decision-makers, supporting long-term MICE development for both the hotel and the city.

Experiencing Budapest beyond the meeting room

Beyond the main venue, participants will take part in two exclusive evening events at Hungexpo, Hungary’s leading exhibition and congress centre, and Gundel, the country’s most iconic restaurant and a 130-year-old institution in the heart of Budapest. These hosted dinners will offer informal networking opportunities in unique settings, highlighting Hungarian gastronomy and hospitality.

To further immerse participants in the destination, four curated city experience tours and a series of hotel site inspections will introduce planners to Budapest’s key attractions and event venues. The programme includes a guided walking tour of Pest with visits to the Opera House and St. Stephen’s Basilica, a City Park tour featuring Széchenyi Medicinal Baths and the House of Hungarian Music, a panoramic sightseeing tour with tastings of Hungarian wine, strudel and goulash, and a private visit to the Zwack Museum with a tasting of the renowned Zwack Unicum liqueur.

Hosted buyer registration remains open for association and PCO event planners interested in attending this exclusive forum. In 2026, Europe Congress will also host four additional events in Copenhagen, Düsseldorf, Prague and Valencia.
