Linked by “Planten un Blomen” park, the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg and the exhibition halls form a unique event campus in the heart of the city. The Hamburg Messe und Congress campus is the city’s largest site for events.

Multifunctional and highly flexible: The CCH – Congress Center Hamburg gives you nearly unlimited options to make your event a full success. Make your ideas become a reality – our experienced event management team will work closely with you, giving you all the individual attention and providing the comprehensive services you need. As one of Europe’s most advanced and largest convention centers with 36,000 square meters of available space, it breaks the mold. The number “12,000” has a very special significance here: 12,000 square meters of event space, another 12,000 square meters of foyer space, and a total number of 12,000 visitors who can attend events at the CCH simultaneously. The complex can provide up to 50 multifunctional halls for conventions and events of any kind with 500 or more persons.
Event venue in Hamburg: Flexibility cubed
The event rooms of the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg can be divided into three separate areas over four floors: west, middle and east. What makes this room layout special is that you can use the space both horizontally and vertically. It is possible to hold parallel events in the individual segments without disturbing each other. You may also rent two or all three areas of the venue – the CCH – Congress Center Hamburg offers you great conditions for individual planning of events. Flexibility cubed, as we put it!
An ideal complex for events
The modernized and upgraded CCH – Congress Center Hamburg enthralls visitors with its light-flooded modern architecture, expertly designed room concepts and state-of-the-art AV systems. It sets new standards in terms of location, flexibility and individuality. As soon as you set foot into the new entry area you get a foretaste of the unique character of this building – a magnificent impression that continues to build as you walk through the generously-dimensioned entrance hall and Belvedere. Throughout the CCH, an innovative lighting system provides perfect lighting conditions by day and night. Sustainability was a top priority in the remodeling project. The CCH is the first, and thus so far, the only existing German convention center to earn Gold certification in the Revitalization category from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). This is the highest DGNB sustainability certification level awarded to an existing convention building to date. Needless to mention, the entire complex is barrier-free. Approximately 8,000 hotel beds are located within a radius of just two kilometers around the CCH. The exhibition campus is just a few minutes’ walk from the CCH. Both venues may be booked through Hamburg Messe und Congress.

Absolutely centrally-located right in the trendy “Schanze” district, surrounded by countless bars, clubs and restaurants, the exhibition campus comprises 11 halls with 87,000 m² of exhibition space plus 10,000 m² of outdoor area. From global flagship trade shows to corporate and association events to major political conventions, anything is possible here. Every year the state-of-the-art, light-flooded exhibition campus next to the TV tower attracts numerous successful trade shows as well as other events.
The event hall A2 & mobile assets
Our 3,657 m² Hall A2 offers flexible set-up options for any event for up to 5,000 guests, depending on the chosen seating arrangement.
We offer a range of optional mobile equipment that can be installed at nearly any scale within a few days. There are many ways to find just the right hall set-up for your event. What is more, we can provide AV equipment for many different purposes in our halls. From large-screen projections to conferences, panel discussions and parties, we can accommodate nearly any conceivable request.
